STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. COMPLETED 22.7.27 Description of Parts. FRONT AXLE TORQUE CONTROL. Origin. To increase safety of brake application and enable flexible front springs to be employed. Experimental Test Report. Run 100 hrs. on the bump. Enables pivot lean to be maintained more consistently. Road Test Report. Run 5,000 miles on 12-EX, 10-EX and EAC.7. Marked improvement in steering control under brake application. When this device is fitted we can then, if desired, use weaker front springs and greater % of front braking.
