Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. C. S. Steadman. I attach hereto copy of our laboratory report on V belt tests as recently carried out for you. Attached to this report is a set of blue-prints, diagram Nos. 880, 883, 884 and 885 which show the results summarized in convenient form. We have been very interested in carrying out this testing and we should be glad of the opportunity to continue with the other competitive makes of belt you have supplied. You understand, of course, that we are unable to continue at the moment as we have no fan. We are pushing ahead with the dynamometer brake type of test machine but until this is ready and installed your fan test is the only method we have available of testing V belts. For our mutual satisfaction, therefore, we shall be glad to receive another fan so that work may recommence. Yours faithfully, FERODO LIMITED M Longley. Chief Chemist & Director. Enc. | ||
