H.R. 199 (5000 12-17) MF18585 C. to I & C. [Signature] X. 4384 EXPERIMENTAL BY/WER2/EF9. 12. 21. "GOSHAWK" 11. S.S.MOTOR AND DYNAMO. Armature Stamping for Motor D.50286/7. " " " Dynamo D.50288/9. Under alteration 351/D and 358/D we have modified and redrawn the above details, deleting the punched slots and have arranged to give the necessary information on the Armature Assembly drawings D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 50113 and D.50459 for milling the slots after the Armature Stampings have been assembled on the shaft. For the first experimental models which you are building you are arranging to insert Mica Plates between each stamping and we are therefore sending you one blue print of each of the following:- D.50541 Armature Insulation Plate for S.S.Motor - 77 off. D.50557 " " " " Dynamo - 85 " These should be bought in Flaked Mica pasted on to rice or Japanese paper. When using these Mica Plates the quantity off the Armature Stampings required will be as follows:- D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 50286 - 76 off. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 50287 - 2 off. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 50288 - 84 off. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 50289 - 2 off. We have not called for the Mica Plates on the L.O.P. or shewn them on the Armature Assembly drawings, as we hope when EFC has carried out his tests to be in a position to build Armatures, [strikethrough]without[/strikethrough] milling the slots and without inserting Mica Plates.
