| 86052. NEW WEGO BRITISH SMALL AROCLOR CONDENSERS TYPE A.I. CONTINUOUS RATED. The small size and compact construction of the new Wego Aroclor treated condensers contributes to lower cost by saving space in built-in applications, such as motors where it is desired to improve the operating characteristics, and Neon tube transformers where it is desired to improve the overall power factor. These condensers are hermetically sealed in metal cases to ensure protection against contamination. This assures permanency of characteristic and long life. The Aroclor treating material, a non-inflammable, non-explosive liquid, having extraordinary dielectric and insulating properties, makes them fire-proof, safe and dependable. The high quality of the materials used throughout their construction assures many years of successful service. The high quality of Wego Aroclor condensers is the result, not only of extensive research into the design and manufacture of condensers, but also of wide application experience. Fixing feet and high dielectric bakelite bushings are included as standard equipment, and the units can be mounted in any position. They are suitable for continuous operation on voltages up to 10% above their rated values at any frequency of 60 cycles or less and at ambient temperatures as high as 75° C. They can be used at double rated voltages for motor starting. Each condenser is given a factory test first at double rated voltage between terminals, second at 2,500v. A.C. from terminals to case. Each test is for one minute.
