Major Cox has rejoined H.M. Forces, and in his absence the Writer is temporarily dealing with matters of publicity. We are very glad to note that the run on the Bentley V was very satisfactory, and that you anticipate being able to write very favourably concerning the car in time for publication in the February issue of "Motor Sport". Since this chassis is now only in course of development, we should be very much obliged if you would kindly submit a draft of your proposed article to Mr. Robotham at Belper before it actually appears in the Press. We think you would find this to be very useful, because Mr. Robotham will naturally be interested in the technical data which appears in the article, and might be able to afford you some further help. Meantime, we note that you will publish in the January issue of "Motor Sport" the history of the Rolls-Royce Company which you are preparing, together with the article on the Bentley V.{VIENNA} which Mr. Robotham has already provided for you. We are pleased to say that the Demonstration Car was safely redelivered to Hythe Road on Monday. I wonder if you would mind letting me know whether you noticed that the cigar lighter was missing when the car was handed over to you.
