Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/C61213 and is bolted to the oil retainer round the main shaft, all being strengthened up where necessary. The pull is about 350 or a possible maximum of 400 lbs. I have submitted it to Mr. Scott and he has expressed his approval and agreed to the chain dimensions as being suitable. I tried to get in a silent chain, but could not do so without considerable alteration to existing gear. The Scott people will let us have a starter for two months free of charge, for trial, and are sending one in when I will get it weighed and take other particulars for your information. I am now proceeding to make details of driven sprocket and fixing, if the general arrangement in any way meetswith your approval. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
