RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12 24) MP 306975 X6011. ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To EFC Order No. PD49. Customer's No. April 10th 1930 *2494 X.6011 Leakage Tests on Bakelite X.616B and Redmanol Coil Cases. From previous comparative tests made on the above types of coil case, and reported in PD46, 8-3-30, there was some doubt as to whether the Bakelite material possessed that characteristic, possessed by the Redmanol material, of improving, as regards leakage, with baking. In order to be sure on this point, the two cases tested were returned for baking, after which they were again tested; the results being given below. In addition, some tests were also made on two entirely new cases, made up similarly to the others, i.e. one in Redmanol and one in Signed Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
