Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hdy.{William Hardy} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} 20/25 HP. Clutch Operation. Herewith is N.Sch.4119 shewing the proposed link between the cantilever pedal support and the engine crankcase to keep the distance between the clutch pedal and the crankcase constant, and so ensure a smooth clutch engagement. In view of the movement due to the very flexible suspension we have made the link joints spring loaded ball joints. We have given a print to Experimental Department to put one set in hand for the 10,000 miles car. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
