f 6160 To Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} Ra/RC.{R. Childs}2/JMS.21.5.40. We find that the arrangement of Hub cap and axle on Mr. Lappin's new Bentley V.{VIENNA} makes it impossible to fit the standard R.R. type Brake-static suppressors to the front hubs. This standard adaptor fits the Wraith wheels. Attached is a sketch showing a simple way of getting over this trouble. Will you please arrange for a scheme to be detailed so that we may fit suppressors to LP{Mr Lappin}'s car? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
