40/50 HP. CHASSIS - L.2 SERIES.

Permission is being obtained by ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} to instruct material for 40/50 HP. chassis, L.2 Series, (200 chassis), and in order to save time will you please issue instructions in the usual way for this series as soon as possible to be similar to K.2b series, with the exception of the following sections and items :-

Exhaust System - Complete section.
Exhaust Cutout

Carburetter Suction Chamber, and parts which will be affected by the introduction of exhaust heating to the carburetter.

Starting Carburetter Section and other parts affected should be held up, as we may wish to introduce the extra oiling device.

The spring drive should, of course, be the low inertia type as instructed for the 2nd. half of K.2 series. Will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} please issue a standardisation sheet to cover this.
