To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} +201 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}21/KW14.2.35. Bentley Pivot Oil Feed Tube C.100689. We have had two instances reported where the above have become rusted up through lack of oil due to oil pipes breaking. At present these tubes are S/D and are not treated against corrosion in any way. We should like to try the standard tube galvanised, as this seems to be a solution to the trouble. Will you therefore please have 6 tubes galvanised and fitted respectively to 1-B-IV, 2-B-IV and 5-B-IV. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring} | ||
