There was no petrol gauge fitted to the first cars which ran 10,000 miles, although, since then, a number of cars have run more than 10,000 miles with these gauges fitted without giving trouble. The fault which has shown up is that the fibre washers were not making a proper joint - these are now all being changed to cork washers. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
