-2- a tendency for the engine to choke through over-rich mixture when idling, due to an abnormally high float chamber level, these symptoms becoming very marked when the needle valve seeting is not in absolutely perfect condition. A further advantage of our Pump lies in the fact that it is not necessary to switch off the current when the car is standing idle. We are now producing a number of pumps of this latest type, and we shall be very pleased indeed to place one at your disposal for an unlimited period for your examination and test. The Pump is very compact as compared with the Vacuum Tank, and offers a certain advantage in the matter of fire-risk, in that the total quantity of petrol carried beneath the bonnet is not more than a few ounces. If you would be good enough to let us know what voltage is most useful to you, we should be pleased to forward you one of these within the course of a week or two. Yours faithfully, p.p.
