109 Chassis To Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} from Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} c. to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}3/OH. 9.12.43. We have made a complete check of the material, L.O.P's and Drawings available to enable us to build a Myth Chassis, and find that the position generally is very promising. We are however, still awaiting a number of L.O.P's, and we would like you to supply us with these as soon as you possibly can. They are as follows :- Section 5210 - Wire Fittings. No L.O.P. available. FJE/RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} will mock up. Section 5230 - Exhaust Fittings. No L.O.P. available. Manifold for first car in stock. Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} will mock up Silencer. Section 5240 - Controls. No L.O.P. available. Design still unsettled. Section 6000 - Fly Wheel & Clutch. From a study of PL. 658 (Morris Gearbox in Myth Chassis) it would seem that a Coupling Quil Shaft No. RG.{Mr Rowledge} 2588 will be required. We find that this particular part is included in the Gearbox L.O.P. Section 6181 - Hydraulic Master Cylinder. No L.O.P. available. Section 7001 - Wing Stays. No L.O.P. available. We presume Park Wards will supply. Section 7043 - Front Brakes. No L.O.P. available. This section should be completed and issued as soon as possible. -continued- | ||
