New Unit in accordance with specification issued in HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}1/BA.4.5.39 the main items being,

1. EB.4600 Crankcase and Cylinders.
2. EB.4575 Crankshaft .4% Carbon steel
3. EB.4740 Pistons - tin plated rings.
4. EB.4532 Cylinder Head.
5. EB.4540 Rocker Cover.
6. EB.4506 Induction pipe.
7. EB.4599 Camshaft.
8. EB.4713/4 Exhaust Manifolds.
9. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}576 Flywheel.

Shardslows promise delivery in early July.

Anticipate passing to test by the end of the 2nd week of July - Subject to Crankshaft being available.

Information required from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} re Valve Springs.

Anticipated date of completion 2nd week in August.
