No, this owner does not appear to be obsessed with the desire for speed and his criticisms of the springing of our trials car GSR-14 were made in respect of speeds at between 35/40 m.p.h.

Our car, as you know, is fitted with standard springs, consequently it would not appear from your memos that we would be likely to satisfy him with this form of springing.

I am very glad to note that you are quite satisfied that by providing low-rating springs and the most recently standardised dampers which will be then available, set suitably, you can completely guard the car against pitching and excessive periodic spring movement, a condition we have undertaken to fulfil in accepting this order.
