Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd.,
Great King St.{Capt. P. R. Strong},
Birmingham, 19.

23rd. September 1937.

For the attention of Mr. Toulmin.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your two letters, received to-day, reference XLGT.9, dealing with the horns and regulators respectively, recently submitted for test.

These statements tell us exactly what we wanted to know, and thus make quite clear the position of these units.

We would like to say that since we are responsible for the experimental investigation of the various units any information of this kind is greatly appreciated.

For this reason, we hope to keep in close touch with you, and, working on these lines, we will in due course, forward you details of our tests, and results obtained, on the items under consideration.

Again thanking you for your assistance,

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
