PHANTOM 111.CROSS STEERING TUBE SPRING PADS.

Please receive herewith two blueprints of each of the following :-

Ex.S.154 Upper Ball Pad 4 off. replacing Ex.S.72
Ex.S.155 Upper Ball Pad Washer " " Ex.S.71

The above parts have been detailed at Mr. Hardy's request.

It will be seen that the come at the top of the upper ball pad has been deleted, and replaced by a flat face. The upper ball pad washer has been altered to suit.

This modification is intended to prevent the Bakelite being expanded on to the wall of the housing, and causing variation in the pressure on the ball pin.

The inside diameter of the housing should have a polished finish.

Please instruct two sets of parts.
