The Hoffmann Manufacturing Co.,Ltd., CHELMSFORD. (For the attention of Mr.C.H. Smith.) Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of March 18th - reference CHS/AMB. We cannot tell you the fit of the failed bearings and their housings for a week or two, until the axle is again stripped for examination. Meanwhile we have decided to increase slightly the capacity of this bearing, and we wonder whether you could let us have two M.S.13g bearings with a special inside diameter of 40 mm.
