THE SOCIETY OF MOTOR MANUFACTURERS & TRADERS LTD THE MOTOR TRADE ASSOCIATION Dear Sirs, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG. We are much obliged for your letter of the 8th. reference as above, with regard to our petrol filter and as requested are making up two samples for you introducing a number of modifications which we think will meet with your approval. At your suggestion we shall lighten the strap holding the glass bowl and also the knurled nut at the bottom. We shall take care also to leave plenty of space at the bottom of the plates to allow for the dirt that has collected. The tops will be made in duralumin. We are pushing these two samples through with all possible speed, and hope they will meet with your approval in every respect. In the meanwhile, we remain, TLT/GA. Yours faithfully, THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO. LTD. T. F.{Mr Friese} Turner | ||
