YORK November 15th 1940.

Mr. Rowbotham,
at The Clan Foundry,
Belper.

Dear Sir,

With reference to our Representative's recent visit to you re our Blackpool sign, we understand that this sign has been removed from the site on which it has stood for many years, on the South side of the Clan Foundry yard.
We presume the sign was removed inadvertently and that you will have no objection to its re-erection.

We believe that it is stored in your Works and shall be glad to have your confirmation of this and if it can be made available to our men when they call.

Trusting you will be able to assist us in this matter.

Yours faithfully,
FOR T. W. POTTAGE & SON LTD.
