To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From G.W.H. - 2 - of the damper had .025" end float. We have corrected this. SPRINGING Impossible for Continental roads. The car pitches, wanders at speed, is very uncomfortable in the front and a throwing forward in the rear seats. On cobble stones and rough roads it gives an impression of riding hard, but is not. The previous settings of the dampers and probably the difference in the rear springs gave an altogether better riding car. If you really want to try the springing, take the main road to Folkestone, you get allmost the same conditions as here. The car up to a speed of 78 M.P.H. is ideal, over that speed it becomes rough and noisy. [Signature: G.H.Hancock] G.W.H. | ||
