re: PN{Mr Northey}'S EXPERIMENTAL CAR.

With reference to the Experimental car which PN.{Mr Northey} is to take to France for test purposes at the end of this month, we understand that you have advised PN.{Mr Northey} that no luggage grid is fitted at the rear. A luggage grid ought to be fitted before the car goes to France, so will you please arrange with Messrs Holmes or another local Coach- builder to fit one up before the car leaves the Works.

We do not wish to wait until the car reaches London and then get the grid made by a local Coachbuilder, as this might cause delay. Neither do we think it will be satis- factory to obtain a grid from a London Coachbuilder and send it up to you, as the grids vary according to the shape of the rear part of the body and the rear wings.
