X.1782. EFC1/AT. 28.3.19. The Weston Electrical Instrument Co., Audrey House, Eley Place, Holborn E.C.1. X.1162. Ammeter for Chassis X.1782. Dear Sirs, Re Sample Model Ammeter No.354. Further to our letter of the 17th inst., we have now submitted this model to our Chief Engineer and received his comments on same. We should like to know how the price of this instrument compares with the permanent magnetic moving coil of the precision type of instrument such as model No.267 as if there is not too much difference in the price, we would rather use that type of instrument We should be glad to know if you consider that the model No.354 instrument is more reliable than a moving coil type for chassis work, which latter is of necessity somewhat delicate. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
