Use of flat races versus hollow recessed races in thrust ball bearings.

| (3) this car, does not agree with the standard practice of thrust ball bearings and uses flat races as we did in our very early cars. The hollow recessed races we now use are, I think, much more satisfactory and carry much more load for a given size of ball. F.H.R. | ||
