c. By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Roy. {Sir Henry Royce} c. Mailing. X4308 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T. 28th August, 1928. Messrs. The A.T. Speedometer Co.,Ltd., 20, Avonmore Road, West Kensington, London, W.14. Dear Sirs, We regret the delay in acknowledging receipt of yours of the 21st inst. with reference to instrument B.247. D.730.15/52, for which letter we thank you. It appears that we are now in agreement as to the amount of the error in these instruments and further that the amount is satisfactorily within our specified requirements. We trust you will be able to keep the instruments up to this standard of temperature variation. With regard to the small type dial instrument B.563.800.14/52, we have confirmed that this also is quite satisfactory in regard to reading and change of reading with temperature, and this instrument is now being placed on one of our experimental cars. The undersigned is proposing that we obtain another such small dial instrument from you, but this time suitable for a 15/52 axle. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. 1.4.- | ||
