Report concerning the usage of high tension distributor points and dynamo brushes for the 20 HP model.

-2- X.5790. (3) With regard to the high tension distributor points on the 20 HP. when running magneto. We cannot give much from experience, because as pointed out above, the magneto on the 20. is not regularly used, and it is probably only used by 99% of owners in a case of necessity. (4) With regard to 20 HP. dynamo brushes, our Stores records show that over 100 of each type have been booked out in approximately 6 months, and these have been sent to outside customers which includes Depots, Agents and Private Owners, and it does not include those fitted in Mr. Brock's Dept. during repairs. We would say we find new brushes are generally necessary after a dynamo has been out for some time, chiefly on account of wear but also on account of the edges being chipped. Reduction in length due to wear accounts for the greatest number. NRC.{N. R.
