Dear Mr. Bleaney, Thank you for your letter of the 11th inst. from which I note that you will be able to let me have a Bentley for a prolonged trial over Easter. I would rather have the Saloon, as this will give me a direct comparison with my own car, which incidentally has just come back from Derby, where I sent it to have the bits and pieces collected together and made into a motor car. I think they have fitted a new Engine Gear Box and Back Axle, and it seems to be now in very good order, except for the springing which they have completely ruined ! As usual, I will give you my candid opinion on the alleged improved car when I have tried it. As you know, at the moment I do not consider that it is an improvement. Yours sincerely, (Signed) Richard F.Summers | ||
