Proposal to introduce Mellotone Horns on Bentley 'M' Series cars.

| -2- Wind Tone Horns are permissible up to 105 phons, 5 phons higher than is allowed for the E.F. Horns, since the noise emitted from the Wind Tone Horns is not so objectionable. We propose therefore with your agreement, to instruct on Bentley "M" Series, the Mellotone Horns, to be introduced as soon as possible, since many of these cars will obviously not be in customers' hands before January 1st. The design for mounting same is all complete since we do repeatedly fit this class of horn at customers' request. The horn switch in the head of the steering column is affected, and the design is available providing the loud and soft switching. BY/RD. | ||
