For the attention of Mr.E.W.Hives.

Dear Sirs,

We understand you will shortly be printing further editions of the instruction books for Rolls Royce and Bentley cars, and would like to suggest alterations to the section dealing with suitable engine oils.

At present Mobiloil D only has been recommended, and we believe it is your experience that this grade is suitable for use both in summer and winter in the British Isles. We do feel, however, that many of your cars are taken abroad to countries where the winter is very much more severe than anything we experience here, and that it is therefore advisable to include suitable Mobiloil grades for such conditions.

The form the note in the instruction books might take is as follows :-

For normal use... ... ... ... ... Mobiloil "D"

In very cold weather.. ... ... ... ... Mobiloil "AF"

In extreme cold as experienced in certain foreign countries, e.g., 40° below freezing, etc... ... ... ... Mobiloil Arctic.

Yours faithfully,
VACUUM OIL COMPANY LIMITED
