Re Hall's Metal Bearings. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/E31.1.36 I am in receipt of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/KW./29.1.36 and am very pleased indeed to note that on endurance running you have now completed 100 hours on a set of big end bearings on the Bentley, which have finished in excellent condition, and more than 50 hours on a set of main bearings. It certainly looks as if this new type of bearing material were going to be of great value to the Company and Mr. Hall and all concerned are to be congratulated thereon. Sg.{Arthur F.
