COPY. Brake Linings Limited, Bridge Street, Buxton. 5th. March 1930. Dear Sir, As this year's events draw near you will no doubt be busy fitting up your racing cars and in the course of which, without doubt, the question of brake linings will arise. We should like to supply you with the necessary linings free of charge and in case you have not tried them already, we would mention that our linings were fitted to the cars which finished 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th in the R.A.C. Tourist Trophy Race last year. We are making a lining which will not spread or score and which will withstand temperatures of over 200°F higher than the limiting temperatures of other linings. We shall be pleased to send you a trial set of liners free of charge on receipt of sizes or alternatively we shall be glad to line up your brake shoes if you care to send them to us. Trusting you will be interested and assuring you of our best attention at all times, we are, Yours faithfully, for Brake Linings Limited. | ||
