4. Function of the Vaporizer Scheme:

We cannot agree with you that the chief function of the vaporizer scheme is to make the engine run better when started up cold. It does this, but it also has the still more important function of preventing loading-up under low speed full throttle conditions and of vastly improving the condition of the engine as regards fouling, crankcase dilution, etc.

5. Measuring Crankcase Dilution:

We will certainly try the viscosity method as recommended by you.

6. We are arranging that there shall be a continuous fall on the drain pipes of the vaporizer scheme as you have recommended.
