1487 To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} c. G/JWH. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}11/MH.{M. Huckerby}19.10.38. 18.10.38. With reference to your memo G/WFH/CA.83/BB. Will you please send an order to:- The S.U.Carburetter Co. Ltd., Adderley Park, Birmingham, 8. to cover six needles already supplied, No. P.3134 .008 taper with .455 discs. The writer would take this opportunity of explaining that the reason for delay in issuing instructions for payment in such cases as this is as follows. Many of the experimental pieces which are received from outside firms are either on trial or on loan. Also certain parts are occasionally supplied and no charge is made. Where there is a doubt about it therefore, we wait until a charge is made. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} | ||
