To-By: from Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Wsr. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (Le Camadre) RE GOSHAWK 11. WIRING AND PRACTICAL DIAGRAM. X40/45 We enclose herewith a print of LeC 1527 on which we shew several modifications which we wish to make to the wiring diagram. As already asked for in Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M8.2.22. we wish the tail lamp wire to run down the near side channel and across the second cross member. Two extensions would be carried down to Lucas' plugs situated inside the channels on either side close to the rear dumb iron. The rear lamp would have a small portion of flex; attached to it and could be readily moved from the offside when going to America or the Continent. Also as was mentioned in Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M8.2.22. the body wires do not pass down a tube in the side channel; the near side wiring finishes as far as we are concerned at the body lighting junction box. The body lighting junction box should be shewn as indicated on the print and is inside the side channel in the neighbourhood of the centre of the rear door. We do not know whether you have schemed this fitting as so far we have not received your schemes for the wiring. If this has not been done we would be glad to have particulars of the wiring conduits to enable us to make a scheme of the box down here. The body light could be indicated in the position shewn in pencil on the print, and the battery wires which we think should cross the frame at the third cross member should be shewn as indicated in pencil.
