It appears to be impossible to increase the number of teeth in the drive with a view to overcoming this difficulty. We are proposing to make inner pistons E.72503 out of m.s. in future. The extra weight of this material delays the commencement of the automatic advance slightly, but we consider that the aluminium will be more likely to stick up in service.
