Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}17/F12.2.21. [STAMP] Afs R FR RECEIVED FEB 4 1921 TESTS OF SPARKING PLUGS. With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG9.2.21, I think a test which should be included in your list of tests for the above should be slow running, and whether this is maintained, especially after the engine has been put through tests Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4. We find that with most plugs when they are new, or cleaned and correctly fitted & adjusted, the slow running is alright. Unless this condition is maintained, which is only done by continual attention, the slow running develops poor. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
