There is a general shout at the moment from customers with levers fitted in the "all inside" position, that the brake lever is too long. We definitely object to the proposal of fitting a stop on the quadrant so that the long lever will not go so far forward, and therefore, if a change is desirable, it must be made in the direction of using a short brake lever. I would like to have your views on the subject, as we have for the moment held up supplies of long levers beyond 1000 until we know definitely what the Experimental Dept.'s views on the subject are.
