-3- Contd. maintained at 80°C and the performance noted at 12 volts on the spark gaps (as before) at the end of the run. (12) An endurance test of 500 hours duration shall be carried out on the coil at 17.5 volts at normal speed on the standard rig. (13) The coil shall then be removed from its case and the windings examined, if considered necessary, or the coil placed on an experimental chassis for a mileage test under chassis conditions.
