6026 To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to G/Mt. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.22/JH.24.11.36. Mr Joplin Smith Electric Clock Off Car 36-EX. 36 Some time ago, a Phantom III type clock, number E.119 was removed from the above chassis, and returned to the makers for repair. On being received by us, it was unfortunately, put straight into our stock without being checked. We now require a clock, and on taking the one from stock, we find that it does not work. As far as we can tell, the winding mechanism is wrong, since the thermo-circuit breaker appears to be in order. Will you please have this instrument returned for correction.
