Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} 1204 BY.11/G.17.6.37. BENTLEY CHASSIS - SPARKING PLUGS. We have something like 800 K.L.G. sparking plugs left in stock. I have discussed the possibility of using these up with the Experimental Department, and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} informs me that they do not think in the case of the Bentley the plug is a serious consideration, and they are satisfied that the old plugs can be used up without any increased chance of failure, so far as the owner is concerned. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} is in agreement with this decision. The Works should, therefore, go ahead and use up the outstanding K.L.G. plugs.
