C O P Y. Na.{Mr Nadin} from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY8-FB1.6.20. Referring to your memo Na{Mr Nadin}2/M9.6.20, I note you are placing in hand 100 sets Top Water Connections in order that you may change over the Thermostat control afterwards. It has been arranged that Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and myself must balance up the various factors and decide where a modification should be introduced and it is considered that the Thermostat control is a sufficiently big advance to merit our scrapping material to introduce it. In view of OP's decision this involves America adopting it even at cost of scrapping parts already ordered. The Standardization Sheets will be issued this week and you will have drawings in ample time before you are producing chassis. Referring to the new short Brake Lever, we are sending you drawings of this on Wednesday next, by first class mail. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
