RE 3/19 GEAR BOX. X 3706

Please receive herewith two blue prints of "N" Scheme 511 shewing the arrangement of the Brake Cables, Brake Cross Shafts, and Draw-bars, for the above gear box fitted to a long chassis. It is necessary to make special brackets for attaching the draw-bars to the second cross member because of the difficulty of clearing the brake pull rods. The special brackets are shewn on "N" Scheme 506, on which Figure I should be worked to, the draw-bars themselves being shewn on "N" Scheme 514.

On "N" Scheme 512 is shewn the bracket for supporting the gear box, and the slight modification necessary to the foot brake adjustment, to adapt it for the new position.

This completes the information regarding the 3/19 gear box fitted in a long chassis. Will you please put the necessary details in hand.
