To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Lincoln Zephyr. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E7938

Referring to the above, I asked C. to ascertain if he could find a secondhand 1938 model. After making enquiries, it would appear that there does not seem to be one for sale in this country. We understand that there XXXX are so many 1937's on hand that there have been very few 1938's brought over and certainly no secondhand ones available.

I spoke to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} about this and he did not seem to think it worth while buying a new one at the present time and that in any case we ought to leave it until we have seen the Paulin Bentley and the Show.

I am, therefore, taking no further action, leaving it to you to raise it at a later date.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
