To EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c.c. E.H. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x 202 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/HP.1.10.34. Bentley Rear Axle. Referring to N. Sch.4193, suggestion 4, it has been found experimentally that when the oil seal is large enough to pass the serrations it is too slack in the running position on the shaft. It is, therefore, necessary to provide a dia. on the shaft under the seal equal to the diameter in the differential bush. This is shewn on N. Sch.4205 herewith. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
