Whilst the Wizard sparking plug feature will certainly increase the life of a plug from the point of view of electrode wear, with ordinary undoped fuels such as is used by larger companies as for instance Imperial Airways, but we do not see how it can be of much advantage in the case where leaded fuels are used due to the fact that the lead will symmetrically erode the whole of the central electrode. Again its bad high altitude features condemn it for use on our supercharged engines.
