Chassis No. 10-G-3. cont:

Somewhat heavy oil consumption (936 m.p.g.)
Excessive lubrication of cylinders.
Pinking and need for decarbonisation at quite a small mileage.
Oil leaks from valve cover from engine generally and particularly from rear of engine case.
Oil leaks from rear of top cover change operating shaft tower gear box and housing of operating shaft to servo, also from speedometer drive housing.
Oil Leaks from R.H. shock absorbers.

Petrol system. Evidences of insufficient filtration in petrol system.
Flooding of carburettor after running at high speeds.
Carburettor air valve cover working loose.
Poor petrol consumption (17.86 m.p.g.) Note. 11-EX was also poor in this respect.

Sideways chattering of gear change lever in quadrant.
Defects in starter mechanism.
Loosening of serrated nut on dynamo drive.

Engine roughness.
Retard vibrations appear to have increased. At beginning of test these were reported normal, while at the end of the test they were reported abnormal.
Development of engine gear sing and rattle.

Irregularity as stopping of clutch.
Piston knocks hot and cold.
Defective dynamo output.
Defective control of exhaust cut out and sticking up of cut out.
Dirtiness of engine owing to open louvres of undershield.
Defective contact points of battery ignition.
Defective wiring under front wings.
Defects in gear brake dynamo drive.
Damage to rear tail lamp and bulb (? standardised rubberoid rear lamp)
