ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.

Instrument Board LOP.DH.{D. Henderson - Showroom}191. RR.Sch.1007 Dimmer Switch.
Modified Lucas petrol pump switch.

The range of the dimmer switch was not satisfactory and generally inferior to that fitted to 35-EX. in France. This has been shown to the electrical section.

No trouble was experienced with the pump switch.

Dynamo.
Bearing Brackets LOP.D.54768.

Failure of the roller bearing at the commutator end was experienced apparently due to lack of lubrication or provision for same. This was not the final scheme.

Horns, Lamps & Fittings LOP.DH.{D. Henderson - Showroom}184.
Lucas R.T.13 Horns. Standard Production.
Lucas R.R.type headlamps.

The horns were unusually good for the type. The new type lamps gave a good driving light for straight roads but lacked intensity at the sides of the road. The casings were not sufficiently dust proof. The ornamental points on the front require modification to facilitate the cleaning of the glass.

These faults are to be taken up with Lucas by the electrical section.

Klaxon Windscreen Wipers.

Oil leaks along the spindle of the O.S.operating knob were experienced. This gets on the driver's hands or gloves and is most objectionable.

K.L.G. PLB.30.X. Sparking Plugs.

Three plugs failed due to cracked insulators.
