HHC. O.{Mr Oldham} Ex. C. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 600. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/C.10.8.38. WRAITH 'B' SERIES. Referring to the attached list of parts not yet released by Drawing Office, the following is the present position. Crankcase and Bearings. Section 5000. Modified Top and Bottom Halves to eliminate shims. Awaiting drawings. Detail drawings are promised for the end of this week. Dynamo Drive. Section 5100. The standard drive will be used except for the durometer of the rubbers. This will be specified very shortly as a result of tests now in progress. Radiator. Steam Valve. Section 5250. Detail drawings available in 1 or 2 days. Instrument Board. Section 7190. Instrument Illumination. Question of voltage of bulbs. Experiments still in progress. Results available shortly. Dynamo. Sections 8070, 8080, 8090, 8100. Type of Dynamo. Not prepared to sign standardisation sheet for 36 slot machine without 15,000 mile test. Material for 36 slot machine is now instructed to run in parallel with tests. Distributor Coil. Sections 8120 and 8140. Delco Remy will be used.
