-2- If we take the customers' complaints that have been put up to us on the Bentley, and the solutions obtained, other than those mentioned in Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/K.10.7.35, the result is as follows :- Complaint. (1) Brakes inefficient when wet. (2) Brakes jaggering when wet. (3) Gear lever vibration. (4) Front end movement. (5) Exhaust valves dropping into the cylinders. (6) Excessive synch wear and clutch jaggers when engaging. (7) Leak of oil on the rear brakes. (8) Poor performance of car due to increase in weight. (9) Engine valve gear noise and exhaust noise. Cure. Water excluders, complete cure. Water excluders, complete cure. Isolated change speed lever, complete cure. Stabilising bumper bar. We do not know of any case where the customer has not been satisfied with this bumper bar. Retaining ring on the exhaust valves, complete cure. Anti-rattle synchromesh parts, and clutch with the fabric on the driven member. Oil seal on the half shaft. High compression head, giving an increase of 20% in power output, 7% lower axle ratio, various magnesium lightened parts. Coachwork insulation scheme, exhaust silencer lagging. | ||
